N.O.V.A. Geocache

Geocaching is an exciting adventure that many people throughout the world are participating in.  N.O.V.A. Geocache was created as a way for N.O.V.A. students and their families (or anyone who happens to view this web site) to spend some enjoyable time together looking for hidden treasure.  To find out more about N.O.V.A. Geocaching, click on the "Blog" link at the top of this page and then click on the "Geocache" link.  We hope you have a great time!

Mission Statement

The mission of N.O.V.A. Principles is: "Nurturing youth to seek out positive Opportunities, internalize good Values, and to accept Accountability for their choices in life.  N.O.V.A. assists parents, families, and communities in protecting youth from the potentially devastating effects of illegal drugs, violence, and negative media exposure."

History

The N.O.V.A. program was created in March of 2003, by Police Sergent Charlie Wakamatsu; Dr. Paul Jenkins, a Child and Family Psychologist;  and officers from the Orem Department of Public Safety in Utah.  In April of 2004, N.O.V.A. Principles LC, was created to allow the N.O.V.A. Principles program to be implemented beyond the confines of the City of Orem.
